A Texas native, Nick Lazorko was recruited at age 17 by Ed Belfour to play Jr. hockey in Canada. He played alongside Dayn in Canada and went on to become an All-American at Castleton University, where he studied marketing and communications.
Nick was offered a professional hockey contract in his third year of college ultimately played six seasons professionally in Germany, Australia, Florida, North Carolina, Indiana and Alabama. Nick and Dayn reunited on the same team again in the Allsvenkan Division 1 league in Lindesberg, Sweden.
After retiring from hockey, he began his career in the spirits industry as a project manager for Loyalty Liquors in The Colony, Texas. Today, Nick handles sales for Belfour Spirits in the greater Houston area.
